If you understand the Bible is the true and accurate WORD of GOD, then these are the scriptural facts…
We were ALL born into sin and are all therefore sinners. What IS sin you ask and why was I guilty of it before I took my first breath? Because of the first person created by GOD, Adam. Adam you see was sinless and perfect until he used his free will and chose to disobey our almighty GOD. At that very moment, all of Adam and Eves descendants and therefore ALL of mankind were made forever guilty by GOD and unable to pay the debt of their sins. This meant the very worst outcome. Mans spiritual bodies were destined for only one place for eternity after the death of their physical bodies. The unimaginably terrifying, never ending torture of Satans domain, Hell. You see GOD and his Kingdom are perfect and all HOLY and therefore cannot coexist with anything that is unholy. That would include MAN. If we are not pure and righteous in the eyes of GOD then we cannot enter into Heaven. Although our GOD is a GOD of wrath to be feared, he is first and foremost a GOD of LOVE. In fact, GOD IS LOVE. After all, GOD created us and all the heavens and the earth to begin with. GOD IS our FATHER in Heaven.
So what difference does it all make now? If we’re condemned from the start why are we talking about this at all? Because of JESUS CHRIST that’s why. Our father GOD is so merciful and loves us so much that he devised a way we could be saved from our sins and Hell. So that our spirits could join him for eternity in Heaven. Someone had to pay for our sins. That someone had to be perfect and free of sin to pay our debt with their very life. That someone was JESUS CHRIST, SON of GOD, GOD in human form. JESUS was born to a virgin on earth and lived a perfect, sinless life while preaching the WORD of his Father GOD. As the Bible teaches he went from place to place doing miracles and showing man what it means to live a righteous life of giving, humbleness, patience, kindness, service, forgiveness, mercy, gratitude and of course LOVE. JESUS taught we are to LOVE GOD with all our heart, mind, body and soul, LOVE our neighbors as ourselves, believe in HIM as our LORD and SAVIOR, leave the ways of the world behind and to follow HIM. How and why is JESUS our SAVIOR? While preaching GODs WORD, JESUS was wrongly accused of treason by proclaiming he would destroy the temple and rebuild it in 3 days. The temple JESUS was refering to was in fact himself as he knew he would be crucified to death on a cross, then resurrected 3 days later. Why would JESUS know this and still allow it to occur? Because that is precisely why GOD sent him. JESUS was the ONLY way, the truth and the life to save us. JESUS died on that cross to save YOU and indeed all of us from eternal damnation. To save us from a debt of sin we could NEVER pay on our own. JESUS paid our debt in full.
So how can a person know that they will join JESUS in Heaven instead of being sent to damnation in Hell? There’s ONLY ONE WAY to be “saved” from eternal torture and pain. By proclaiming GODs SON, JESUS CHRIST into your heart as your LORD and SAVIOR. In doing this you are acknowledging Jesus lived a perfect, sin free life, died on a cross to make the payment for all of your sins and was resurrected 3 days later to reign over his Father GOD’s Kingdom and children for all eternity. Have unwavering FAITH and you will be filled with GODs HOLY SPIRIT.
